Meet Crystal Jo, LMFT
I’m Crystal Jo, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist specializing in couples, families, and individuals navigating relationship challenges and life transitions. I’m also an adjunct professor at New York University, where I teach and mentor future therapists in the Applied Psychology graduate program.
I created Keystone Marriage and Family Therapy to provide a warm, culturally responsive space where clients can feel understood and supported. My approach is collaborative and grounded in the belief that meaningful change happens through safe, honest connection.
Whether you’re feeling distant in your relationship, adjusting to a new phase of life, or seeking greater clarity and understanding, therapy offers a space to reflect, strengthen connection, and create lasting change.
Learn More About My ApproachThe Meaning Behind Keystone
The word keystone refers to the central stone in an arch that holds the structure together. Without it, the arch cannot stand. In many ways, our relationships serve a similar role in our lives. They influence how we experience connection, identity, and support.
Keystone Marriage and Family Therapy was created with the belief that when relational foundations are cared for and understood, people can experience greater stability, clarity, and growth. Therapy offers a space to explore patterns, strengthen connection, and develop healthier ways of relating to yourself and to others.
This practice is grounded in thoughtful, culturally responsive, and evidence informed care, with respect for each client’s unique story and pace.
Start Where You Are
Seeking therapy is a meaningful step, and it is okay to take it at your own pace. Whether you are navigating relationship challenges, life transitions, or simply looking for greater clarity, therapy offers a space to feel heard and supported.
If you are considering working together, a consultation can help you decide if this feels like the right fit.
